HOTEL RAČÍN*** is situated in the “Green Heart“
of the Czech Republic, in the romantic countryside
of the Žďárské vrchy nature reserve, 650 metres
above sea level. The hotel provides its guests with
first-class services for family recreation and corporate
events. The facilities available at the hotel include
a newly built conference room with the capacity
of up to 50 seats, further a reception desk, a winter
garden, a cocktail lounge, a restaurant and lounge,
an attended summer terrace and a garden with a grill,
a turnspit and a camping fireplace. The whole hotel
has been newly reconstructed and modernized after
a many years’ operation and rich history as the
preserved visitor's book states …”it is
permitted to harbour foreigners on 22 June 1936”…

RAČÍN*** is located in the homonymous village
of Račín, 8 km far from Žďár nad Sázavou and 4 km
far from Velké Dářko (206 ha) also known as The
Sea of the Highlands.
Within the hotel’s vicinity you will find beautiful
nature – meadows, forests and ponds of the Czech-Moravian
Highlands. It is precisely these conditions that
make the hotel exceptionally suitable for recreation
- walks, hiking and sport all year-round. The conference
room with a view to a water lily pond and a forest,
(as seen on the video spot), presents an ideal place
for holding trainings, conferences, business meetings,
banquets as well as family celebrations - weddings,
graduation parties …
In the summer season we run a tea garden at the
Jordán pond with a view of the countryside. The
quiet part of the hotel garden offers an attractive
place to spend a while with friends; this place
is also ideal for organizing summer parties with
grilling and live music or barbecuing at camping
fire, possibly with a guitar. During unfavourable
weather you can play table tennis, pool, electronic
darts or American football at the hotel.
The hotel also offers a rental and a depository
of bicycles.
The hotel is a starting point for a number of marked
hiking and cycling trails. In winter you can use
mechanically maintained cross-country skiing tracks,
starting from the hotel towards the Zlatá lyže -
SKI area Nové Město na Moravě, which has a maintained
downhill course with two ski lifts and lighting
for evening skiing.
